AP Portfolio Building Process Features
Guidance in creating and compiling AP STUDIO ART Portfolios is specifically for students who are seriously interested in Art OR are wanting the advantage of an impactful combination while applying for the Ivy Leagues in their areas of interest.
Concept Building & Planning
Portfolio building requires students to become independent thinkers with Artworks reflecting their 'individual voice' and 'original thinking' which in-turn germinates into a Central Concept around which a series of art works are built. The end result is a well defined amalgamation of ones strengths and explorations in various Mediums, Compositions, Depths, Forms and Perspectives.
Concentrated &
Persistent Efforts
Since art is subjective the Portfolio building can take approximately 12 months or a minimum of 10 months in advance as it requires a concentrated and persistent effort and thoughtful investigations. Thus unlike other academic subjects it cannot be rushed or churned out in a short time span.

A dedicated effort needs to be made to develop each art work piece-by-piece with positive mental imagery and patience.
Curating and Compilation
A thoughtfully curated and well-compiled Portfolio must have at-least
29 Artworks distributed amongst 3 different sections namely Quality, Concentration and Breadth that demonstrate the student's ability to incorporate drawing techniques and issues that include drawing from
observation, work with inverted or
non-objective-forms, effective use of
light and shade, line quality, surface
manipulation, composition & creative expression in a variety of mediums depending upon their individual interests and caliber.

Portfolio guidance is an amalgamation of regular and skill-learning Art classes which are taught to students in various mediums of Art depending upon the school board the student is studying in.

Guidance in creating personalized PDF e-catalog of the Portfolio for digital submissions.

Guidance in EE writing and an overview in Art theory and Art general Knowledge.
LEARN THROUGH EXPERIENCE​
Guidance by an Artist / Illustrator / Art teacher with over 17 years of experience. A College Of Art, New Delhi ( year 2000 batch ) and Triveni Kala Sangam Alumni with an active in-field experience of working in the Art Fraternity. Further study and practice in Art at Accademia Riaci, Florence, Italy through an award winning international Art Scholarship in Drawing and Painting (2021).
